Working principle:
The pumps are fitted with open or closed impellers, which are
mounted on the end of the drive shafts and enclosed by large
circular chambers and baseplates with machined insert. The
suction opening in the baseplate is directly contacted with the fluid
to be pumped. The rotation impeller transmits kinetic energy to the
fluid which is centrifuged in the ring chamber, where the kinetic
energy is divided. The particular design of the impeller optimizes
hydraulic efficiency, while allowing the pump to handle muddy fluids
containing solids in suspension and short fibre without danger of
clogging.

Application:
The pumps fitted with cast-iron or plastic single vane impellers are
suitable for pumping liquids containing solids in suspension,
including short fibers. The pumps are particularly recommended for
handling clean water or sewage, effluent water, water mixed with mud,
groundwater and surface water in such areas as residential housing
blocks, public buildings, industrial areas and multi-storey car parks.
